2003 will be the inaugural year of the Sheffield University Quiz Society (SUQS). Meetings will be every Wednesday Afternoon at 1:00 PM in the Elmfield Building.
The objectives of the society will be to:
- Offer regular opportunities for quizzing at a local level
- Systematically enter members for TV and Radio Quiz shows
- Establish individual championships
- Establish inter-departmental team championships
- Organise and win the Yorkshire Universities team championships
- Win University Challenge
Additionaly the society will be a conduit for advice, information, friendship and support.
